Oops... haven't been here for about a month, which has gone by like two days, at least for me that is.
Very busy with some interesting stuff that draws my focus away from clothing and fashion.
Of course I can still get dressed in the morning (and afternoon and evening, depends on the day) like always and haven't lost my mojo in regards to personal style, but somehow all the documenting part of it doesn't quite fit in my schedule lately.
And what have you guys been up to in the last few weeks? So many things have happened in the world it's kinda hard to keep track.
Hope nobody missed the candid and very important piece written by Angelina Jolie for the New York Times. I personally applaud her for sharing this personal experience and telling the world about her choice and by that raising awareness.
Mrs. Jolie-Pitt, I have become a fan of yours the moment I read this, Thank you!

לא הייתי פה המון זמן... אופס! וכל הזמן הזה שעבר הרגיש לי כמו יומיים או משהו כזה.
הפוקוס שלי לא כל כך בבגדים לאחרונה, אני כמובן עדיין מצליחה להתלבש בבוקר כהרגלי והכל טוב ויפה, לא איבדתי חלילה את המוג'ו בכל הנוגע לסגנון האישי, אבל איכשהוא כל הקטע של התיעוד הזה קצת לא מסתדר לי בלו"ז.
ומה אתם עשיתם לאחרונה? כל כך הרבה דברים קרו בשבועות האחרונים שקצת קשה לעקוב.
אני מקווה שאף אחד מכם לא פיספס את הכתבה גלוית הלב של אנג'לינה ג'ולי שמבחינתי קנתה את עולמי בחשיפה האישית והחשובה הזו והוסיפה בכך באופן מיידי אפונה קטנה לקהל מעריציה (לפני זה הייתי יותר בקטע של להתפעל מבעלה).

50 shades of blue (and green)

As I promised earlier this month, here is my complete blue and green outfit, which was posted hastily on instagram.
As you can see my affection towards the cooler shades of the color palette is only growing and I think I might be hooked. It's all because of that bag, I tell you! This is what bags do...
And speaking of being affectionate, I'm currently digging all plain tee blouses, crew neck ones, without any zips or buttons. After my search for the ultimate buttoned shirt last year I think we have reached the buttonless era... Wish me luck in my new quest!
After wearing this lovely silk blouse I added pretty much everything else blue/green/teal I had in the closet, and I was done.

כפי שהבטחתי בתחילת החודש, הנה האאוטפיט המלא שתועד באינסטגרם בחטף.
וכמו שניתן לראות אני מטפחת חיבה הולכת וגוברת לצבעים הקרים והרעננים של הסקאלה. נראה לי שבהכל אשם התיק, הוא התחיל את מסע החקר לעבר הכחולים, הירוקים והטורקיזים. כאלה הם תיקים...
ואפרופו מסעות חקר, החודשים האחרונים היו מוקדשים למציאת החולצה המושלמת ללא כפתורים. בשנה שעברה הייתי חזק בקטע של חולצות מכופתרות, ועכשיו אני מחפשת את ההיפך - בלי כפתורים, בלי רוכסנים, בלי עבודה מיותרת.
נראה לי שזו, שהעליתי בחכתי בסיבוב השופינג המקוון האחרון, היא מועמדת די טובה לכתר. ההדפס אמנם מזכיר לי קצת ציורים על משי, שהם לא בדיוק הדבר הכי מגניב בעולם (כל מיני אימהות ופנסיונריות מצאו בהם פורקן יצירתי אי שם בשלהי הנייניז - זוכרים?), אבל איכשהוא יצא פה הדפס מאוד הרמוני שנעים להסתכל עליו.
שילבתי אותה עם כל שאר גווני הכחול/ירוק שיש לי בבית מקודם, ו-יאללה...

natural stripes

After leopard comes zebra. Didn't you know? ;)
This is an outfit I wore last week through about the whole week, sorry friends who had to see me wearing this over and over, day after day, shamelessly. I'm just trying to lower the cost-per-wear, so please bear with me.
I have finally come to the conclusion that prints which draw inspiration from nature are the best prints out there, Since the best patterns can be found only in nature itself.
This sweatshirt, which I'm so in love with, is actually a striped top, yet these stripes are so interesting, organic and natural, than your "regular" stripes. Big like!
Zebra, you are my obsession du jour!

אחרי המנומר מגיעה הזברה. מה לא ידעתם?
זה אאוטפיט שלבשתי בשבוע שעבר בערך שבוע ברציפות. סליחה לכל חבריי שנאלצו לצפות בי ממחזרת ללא בושה, אני פשוט מנסה להוריד את ה- cost per wear, אז תהיו סבלניים.
קיבלתי את החולצה הזו כמנחת פיצוי על כך שנשארתי בגפי שבוע והייתי צריכה להתמודד עם החתול הביתי והמשוגע לגמרי לבד (משימה לא פשוטה) ואני ממש מאוהבת בה.
הגעתי סופית למסקנה שההדפסים הכי טובים הם אלה ששואבים השראה מהטבע, הלא הדוגמאות היפהפיות והמרהיבות ביותר מצויות שם בדיוק. צריך פשוט להתבונן וללמוד.
הרי מהו הסווטשירט הזה אם לא חולצת פסים, בעצם, אבל פסים כל כך מעניינים, אורגניים וטבעיים. ביג לייק!

birthday wishlist

So, I celebrated my birthday yesterday.
In my age a woman is not supposed to tell how old she is, and it is expected of me to talk about new wrinkles, white hairs and how it was fun a long time ago when I had the body for belly baring tops. But I refuse to do so.
Instead I made a super wishful wish-list of things that would be lovely as birthday gifts and help me make the best of the upcoming seasons. I think these are pretty practical and could be used for years and years to come.
And if we put the material stuff aside for a moment I also have a wish or two that are not fashion related and I hope will come true, so if you want to blow a virtual candle for me that would be great.

אז, חגגתי אתמול יומולדת. 19.4, אל תשכחו להתקשר אליי בשנה הבאה :)
בגילי כבר אסור לחשוף את הגיל ואמורים להיאנח ולהתאונן על הקמטים, השערות הלבנות וכמה היה כיף כשהייתי פעם צעירה והיה לי גוף לחולצות בטן (??) אבל אני מסרבת לעשות זאת בינתיים.
במקום זה בחרתי להכין קולאז' מושחת וכייפי של מה שהייתי שמחה לקבל ליומולדת והיה עוזר לי לעבור את האביב והקיץ בשלום ובהנאה מבחינה אופנתית. וגם את הקייצים הבאים כי יצא שבחרתי דברים די קלאסיים שיכולים לשמש לשנים.
ואם נשים לרגע את הדברים החומריים בצד יש לי איזו משאלה או שתיים שבהחלט לא קשורה לאופנה או חפצים שאני מקווה מאוד שתתגשם בעתיד הקרוב (זה לא תינוק. עדיין לא, תרגיעו), אז אם בא לכם לפרגן לי אשמח אם תנשפו על איזה נר וירטואלי בשבילי או תקדישו לי ריס שנפל.

שיהיה שבוע טוב לילידי האביב, וגם לאלה שנולדו בעונות אחרות :)
